A lot has been going on this past few weeks and instead of procrastinating and waiting for a “full” story or shoot, I thought I would just do a quick post to keep you all updated.

My new book should be hitting the shelves any day now. The Nikon D3200 Digital Field Guide is exactly what the title says. It is a book for owners / users of the new Nikon D3200 consumer DSLR. The book covers every menu, button, setting and feature of the camera and is meant as a supplement to the user manual. I really like this camera and the size and weight make it a lot easier to take with me than my pro bodies. The book is available where ever books are sold….  To buy it at Amazon which seems to have the lowest price right now, just click HERE.

Ok, I have been getting a lot of email and tweets asking my opinion on the purchase of Nik Software by Google. I don’t have an opinion right now. It might be great, it might be terrible. I have no idea. If Google did it just to get their hands on Snapseed, then that would be very short-sighted by them. Nik has a fantastic set of plug-ins for photographers that  work with Photoshop, Lightroom and Aperture. Lets hope that Google sees the value in just leaving that part of the company alone. I also really hope that all my friends who are currently employed at Nik stay where they are, doing what they do, because they are really good at what they do.

I have found a few more Photoshop World reviews.

If you have a review, I would be happy to link to it here. Just send me a note.

I shot the final night of the Honda Civic tour last week. Photos soon…
