First band up at the 94.9 FM Holiday Hootenanny was the White Rabbits. Not bad lighting but a photo pit filled with what seems like first time shooters.
No consideration for the crowd, no consideration for the other shooters and no consideration for the band.
Alan,
What specific things were these other shooters doing (or not doing) that raised a red flag? As a newbie in the concert photography field, I’m extra interested in knowing the proper protocol for shooting in the pit. Obviously, common sense applies, I’m sure. But any other tips you could pass along would be helpful.
Thanks for a great blog and great shooting!
Jon
Hi Jon.
I am going to write up the rest of the show and will talk about the behavior of the other photographers.
The main thing was that they had no regard for those around them.
Thanks for reading my blog.
Alan
I cherish this blog, definitely some of the most accessible information i’ve found in a while
