Shawn Mendes brought his Illuminate tour to the Valley View Casino Center and i was there to capture the show. As shoots go, this one was pretty straightforward, three songs from the pit. There was a small wrinkle in that we were not allowed to shoot in the center of the photo pit and couldn’t even cross the center part during the songs. I have no idea why… but hey, I usually shoot from a side angle anyway. The second surprise was that not only was Shawn going to perform a few songs from a smaller B stage, but we would be able to shoot a song at this stage as well. Here are some of the shots from the night. All images were captured using Nikon DSLR and Nikkor lenses.
