I love my job.

Seriously, I know a lot of people say that they love their jobs, but I really do. I get to photograph concerts. How freakin cool is that? Now, there are days when it is more work. I mean, shooting under tough LED lights or when a performer stays over on the other side of the stage can make a simple shoot really hard.

Then there are the shows like Peter Gabriel. Pure bliss to shoot. Plenty of space, great light and songs that I knew all the words to.

Now, the setup for this show was very monochromatic, so the images are very monochromatic. But it isn’t often that you get to see the performer actually interact with the lighting.

This was a great show…

Loved every minute of it.

All images captured with a Nikon D4 and Nikon D700 with the 24-70mm f/2.8 and 70-200mm f/2.8 combo.
