To keep in practice and work with other dogs, I went over my friend’s house armed with a black pop up backdrop, a Nikon SB-900, some Rogue FlashBender light modifiers, and a set of pocket wizard triggers. Worked like a charm. 
It took just a few minutes to set up the shot and with a few doggie treats and a little assistance from the dog owner, these shots were taken in a matter of minutes.I used the Nikon D4 and 70-200mm f/2.8 for these shots.
