I love my neighborhood. Where else can you see belly dancers with snakes, living statues, rock and roll bands and protesters all during the same afternoon. I shot all images using a Nikon D700 and the 70-200mm f/2.8 and 24-70mm f/2.8 lenses.

so bummed to have missed the event but through your photos I can imagine being there! Awesome work!
Thanks Alan for the Street Fair shots.
See that you blocked me from flikr. I think if you block someone then there should be an explanation as to why. Curious as to what your thought process is no matter how shallow it may be;)
There is no way to leave a message when blocking someone from flickr. The way that flickr now works is that if someone clicks on one of my photos that you have marked as a favorite they see the rest of your favorites and since there is nudity I did not want that associated with my images.
The way flicker now works is causing me to have to block a lot of people. The new layout does not work in the best interest of adult content.
Thank you for your time and response. Your explanation has given me clarity. Your pictures are appreaciated and wondered at by me and sorry if I associated you with what moves me on flickr.
Peace and be safe,
blackman72
It’s not the association with you, it is the association with the other images that you have marked as favorites showing up as a visible stream when on one of my images
I’m not happy about it.
The change in the flickr UI is making it tough to have things show up the way I want them to.
I will have to block a lot of people becaue of this.
