This is strictly in the rumor category but it looks like Nikon is about to release a new high end DSLR. According to the rumor, the D4 is a 25 Megapixel, FX sensor body with 6 frames a second shooting capabilities.
The big question would be the low light / high ISO capabilities of the camera. Will it be able to match the fantastic low light capabilities of the D3 and D700?
Time will tell.
That seems a bit far fetched… of course its a rumor and obviously you didn’t start it, but wouldnt they continue their successful strategy of having X’s and S’s, like the D2X OR D2S? ultimately saying that they will come out with a D3x before another new line? who knows the rumor could be right, but i find that a little out of touch with the way Nikon does things.your thoughts?
I actually believe that the D3x will be the full frame sensor with a buffer improvement and sensor cleaning.
It makes sense to have anew number to differentiate between the different megapixel counts.
oh okay. So in other words, the D4 would potentially market a different bread of photographers, leving the d3 to the photojournalists, and the D4 for fashion and design?
