Photoshop World is just a few weeks away and this year looks to be one of the best ever. This year I am presenting on a wide variety of subjects both before the conference, during the conference and on the expo floor. Here is the breakdown of my presentations:
- Monday, August 10, 12:00pm – 5pm
Real World Concert Photography – I teach this class with Scott Diussa and it is one of the In-Depth workshops limited to 40 participants and we are very close to selling out. The class involves an actual concert shoot along with some classroom time. There is also a very cool competition during this class and someone is going to win a Nikon D750 DSLR and lens. The contest is only open to the people in the class and one attendee is guaranteed to win.
You can see a little video clip that covers some of the stuff in the class HERE.
- Tuesday, August 11, 4:00pm – 5:00pm
Mastering Nikon Speedlights – This presentation will take place on the Expo floor at the Peachpit bookstore stage and it will cover some of the content from my new book. This presentation is more story telling about a couple of the shoots for the new book and how I ended up writing it.
- Wednesday, August 12, 9:30am – 10:30am
Photoshop Techniques for Night and Low Light Images – This class is part of the Photoshop track and I will be presenting on multiple methods of noise reduction, different ways to deal with contrast issues, dust and spot removal and some general recipes to help improve your images that are shot at night or in low light.
- Wednesday, August 12, 3:45pm – 4:30pm
Pet Photography – This presentation will take place on the Expo floor in the Kelby One theater and covers some of the basics on pet photography.
- Thursday, August 13, 12:00pm – 12:45pm
FlashBenders and Grids – This is shoot / demo in the Rogue FlashBender booth. First time presenting for them and it should be fun. Will try to create something fun in th booth with a couple of Speedlights and some light modifiers.
So there you have it, my week at Photoshop World in Las Vegas.
