A couple of weeks ago I got to photograph Linkin Park when they played here in San Diego. Great show and some really fun images. All shots taken with a Nikon D700 and 24-70mm f/2.8 and 70-200mm f/2.8 .
The only downside was that we were not allowed to shoot any crowd shots at all.
Love your work! I study your photos to help me get better! You shoot acts that I hope someday I can photo!
Sitting in a Barnes and Noble, reading the new Photoshop mag and saw your concert article. I have a Canon 50D and some good glass lenses and have shot some concerts from an audience point Of view, with blah results. That is, indoor without flash. Never had the nerve to shoot 1600 or above ISO because of the noise issues in Post Processing. Do you use an additional plugin for Photoshop, and if so, what would that be? I have Topaz and its amazing but your results cant be denied.
Fantastic difficult photography, Alan!
