I first remember photographing Ed Sheeran in concert when he opened for Taylor Swift back in 2013. This time around, Ed was headlining the show and really gave the fans a great performance.
I shot the show with two cameras and three lenses, the Nikon D4 and D750 along with the 16mm Fisheye, 24-70mm f/2.8 and the 70-200mm f/2.8. Photographing a single performer is easier than shooting a full band since you can concentrate on a single person and not have to worry about what you are missing elsewhere on the stage. The downside is trying to get a unique angle or view since everyone is photographing the exact same person at the same time.
