I recently had the opportunity to shoot the Derek Trucks band at the San Diego House of Blues.
Shooting at the House of Blues in San Diego is always a challenge. From the lack of photo pit to the over zealous security combined with the limited views and inebriated crowd makes every show a real challenge. There was no way to get close to the stage and protect my camera so I shot from the rear edges of the crowd and from the balcony.
I would like to thank the folks in the balcony for their kindness, patience and general niceness.

I definitely understand what its like to deal with problems like that. Though, the Houston HOB is alot more Photog friendly. I got to shoot The Disco Biscuits and it was pretty amazing!
