Friday, December 23 was the final show of the 2011 Camp Freddy Residency at the Roxy. Each week had brought an eclectic setlist and great group of guests to the stage at the legendary Roxy in Los Angeles. Week 4 would be no different. The curtain went up to the now familiar Frankie Goes to Hollywood hit Relax. And since it seems that most of the audience were there for their second, third or fourth time, they went nuts.

The final setlist was as follows (to the best of my memory and notes)

  • Relax
  • 20th Century Boy
  • Rock and Roll Star (Dominic Monaghan)
  • Immigrant Song (Frankie Perez / Jason Bonham)
  • Hard to Handle (Frankie Perez)
  • Cat Scratch Fever (Mark McGrath)
  • Sedated / Blitzkreig (Mark McGrath)
  • Anarchy in the UK (Billy Morrison on Vocals / Scott Ian)
  • Stay With Me (Glen Hughes / Steve Stevens)
  • Highway Star (Glen Hughes / Steve Stevens)
  • Wanted Dead or Alive (Corey Taylor)
  • Dirty Deeds (Corey Taylor / Scott Ian)
  • Sex Type Thing (Corey Taylor)
  • Blues (Billy Gibbons)
  • La Grange (Billy Gibbons)
  • God Save the Queen (Lemmy)
  • Shakin All Over (Lemmy)
  • Ace of Spades (Lemmy)

Now thats a setlist that has something for everyone and just take a look at the guest…

For this show I was back over on Dave Navarro’s side of the stage. This was mainly due to the band list (where my name and pass were) getting to the box office after the doors were already open. Hey, stuff happens…
