I have photographed the 91 X Fest for the last couple of years and it has always been a good day of music and photography. This year was a different story and it just might be the last time I try to cover this event. There were eight bands on the main stage, yet we only go to shoot three. For some reason we never got approvals to shoot Pennywise, Palma Violets, Atlas Genius, Cold War Kids or Public Enemy, and only were allowed to shot sets from 
Yelawolf, The Cult and Modest Mouse. So here are the photos from the three bands I did get to shoot.
First up is Yelawolf

Next up was Public Enemy but since we were not approved to shoot them, we sat and watched from the press area until it was time for the Cult.

And Finally it was time for Modest Mouse.

What I got to shoot was fun.

All photos taken with Nikon D4 and D750 and the 24-70mm f/2.8 and 70-200mm f/2.8 Nikkor lens.
